I have many years of experience in abdominal medicine, especially in liver and pancreatic surgery. I provide individual consultations, explanations and second opinions on issues relating to complex abdominal surgery.
My focus is on empathy and understanding for the patient's concerns. My understanding of therapy is to take into account proven and current scientific findings, to use outstanding technical skills and to make the right choice of therapy for each individual problem.

Research
- Co-founder and International Director of the Tarumanagara Human Cell Technologies Laboratory (THCT-Lab), a research center for cell matrix implants and mini-organs at Tarumanagara University (UNTAR) in Jakarta, Indonesia. With the "Hepadua® Mini Liver Implant", he developed a new treatment method for severe chronic liver cirrhosis in collaboration with international consultant and research partner Ursula Weber (†). This method is currently undergoing clinical trials
